Message   Hi Igor,
i,m sooo sorry it took me soo long to write to you again, I'm a busy musician and sometimes have no sense of the passing of time.....
I read a bit about Part and tarakovski, both and no clear connections appeared, but I'm doing some research on the composition studies in Estonia, and it seems to be that the coming generations of Estonian composers frequently do quite a lot of work on film scores, and end up being majorly influenced by the cinnematography they worked with, so maybe Part still felt the repercussions of his work with Tarakovski when wrote Litany?!

i have asked a lot of my friends at the Conservatorium where I study, to think about your question, so I'll keep in touch......(and write sooner the next time)
all the best, nela

P.S....no need to apologise for your English.......music creates "the language of languages" and I'm a Yugoslav living in Australia, so I know what it's like....... ciao
