Hi! A few yeras ago I was given an MC by a cousin of mine, she told me she had received it as a special gift from Wiener Tschuschenkapelle, a group of slavic/greek/turkish etc songs singers...she did not know the name of the album and since then (1996) I have been going almost mad in finding titles, songs, lyrics...I know the titles of some of the songs: 1. Moj Dilbere, 2. Moja mala nema mane ... 9. Sano duso. This on side B. On side A there a lot of wonderful Greek songs, but I really do not speak Greek, and I can not find almost ANY news about it... :(( I tried on the internet, but no smilar album was released - at least it looks like that... Maybe the second song of side A is 'Elenitsa', but it seems to me they say somehting like 'Vasilistsa' (?) and 'Venizelos'...maybe they changed the words? ANY HELP? I would really appreciate that! I even tried to contact the group via e-mail, they never replied...some of the songs are really astonishing, and I'd really love to know something more about them! Thanks a lot for any help, Sincerely
Jacopo, Roma |

I found the word written in both ways...anyway...you know the song, don't you? well, I would really appreciate if you told me something about the lyrics and the meaning! ;) THANK YOU Jacopo, Roma |

Message | Perhaps you mean a rebetiko song "Tis Amynis ta pedia, dioxane to vassilia"? It's an historical rebetiko song inspired from the events of World War I in Greece. E-mail me. Perhaps I can help. Stergios from Greece |
